Infusion Revolution: An Unexpected Treat

Everyone loves a cold, sweet summery treat right? Maybe a bowl of ice cream satisfies your sweet tooth? Well, we’ve got a salty, decadent ice cream creation for you today that will satisfy all the cravings:

Vanilla Ice Cream Topped w/ Bacon & Infused Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

A few scoops of your preferred Vanilla Ice Cream

Some tasty bacon (1-2 strips should do it but we’re not stopping you from adding more…)

2 tbsp of Infused Maple Syrup

A Pure Oil Syringe (please consult your dispensary pharmacist to determine proper dosing)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the bacon however you’d like. Cook in a skillet on the stovetop, throw it all in a pot and close the lid until every strip is happily seared to perfection, whatever floats your boat. Place cooked bacon on a few sheets of paper towels, or a designated reusable towel, to soak up excess grease. Once bacon is cooled enough to touch, cut 1-2 strips into small pieces and set aside.

  2. While the bacon is cooking, set up a double boiler for the maple syrup. Pour the maple syrup into the top bowl above the boiling water and add your pharmacist recommended dose of Pure Oil. Stir gently for about one minute, then remove from heat and set aside.

  3. Scoop your desired serving of ice cream, add bacon and fold into ice cream. Drizzle with the 2 tbsp of infused maple syrup. And…enjoy!
